چکیده
Aortocoronary dissection is an infrequent yet potentially lethal complication of coronary angiography or percutaneous intervention (PCI). Treatment strategies include conservative management, stent implantation, and surgical intervention. We herein report a case iatrogenic aortocoronary during PCI the right artery successfully treated by management. Conservative treatment may be potential alternative to for with limited extension when patient’s clinical condition stable under strict hemodynamic

متن کاملCatheter induced aortocoronary dissection during percutaneous coronary intervention: successful aortoostial stenting.
Iatrogenic acute dissection of the ascending aorta is a serious but rare complication of cardiac catheterization and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Although treatment of ascending aortic dissection may require surgical repair, stenting at the origin of the dissection area may be sufficient in aortocoronary dissection (AD) following PCI. Described is the case of a 64-year-old female p...
متن کاملSuccessful Aorta-osteal Stenting after Iatrogenic Acute Type-A Aortic Dissection during Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention.
BACKGROUND Iatrogenic acute dissection of the ascending aorta following coronary angiography and percutaneous intervention is rare. This complication, if not managed urgently, can have critical results. CASE REPORT We present the case of a 70 year-old woman who was treated by primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) of the right coronary artery (RCA) for acute inferior myocardial infa...

Stent dislodgement is a very rare but recognized and potentially serious complication of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). This case series describe the incidence and etiology of such cases at National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases, Karachi during the year 2008 and the method of treatment of this complication.
متن کاملIatrogenic type A aortic dissection complicating percutaneous coronary intervention: a case report
Iatrogenic type A dissection caused by percutaneous coronary intervention is a rare but life-threatening condition. Computed tomographic angiography is an excellent diagnostic tool commonly utilized if such procedural complication is clinically suspected. There are, however, potential diagnostic challenges. Herein, we present an illustrative case of iatrogenic type A dissection successfully dia...
